About the Teacher
Hi!
|
Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child. This year is going to be full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures. I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.
I love traveling and often find myself in historical cities learning about the rich history of Florida and a variety of cultures. Along with traveling, I also enjoy cooking, crafting, playing music and reading. My husband and I have one daughter and enjoy playing with our little munchkin, Isabel.

I have lived in Seminole most of my life and graduated from Seminole High School where I was in marching band.
I graduated with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education, Exceptional Student Education and English for Speakers of Other Languages from the University of South Florida - St. Petersburg with an endorsement in reading.
I am the youngest of two. My sister, Kathleen, is also a teacher in Pinellas County.

This is my seventh year teaching fourth grade and my second year at Plato Academy St. Petersburg. I absolutely love teaching fourth grade. It’s my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I teach with a passion for my subjects so that my students develop a desire to be life-long learners. Please, let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is so important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need! I look forward to a great year together!
